  Chicken Marinade Brief Description A robust, savoury marinade for chicken made with dark vinegar, tomato and spices. Ideal for braai, oven roasting or slow cooking. Key Details Serves: About 1.5–2 kg chicken Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: No cooking Total Time: 15 minutes Difficulty: Easy Dietary: Gluten-free option Ingredients 1 cup dark vinegar 1 cup tomato sauce ½ tsp paprika Handful coarse salt 1 small tin tomato paste 2 tbsp sugar ½ cup oil 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce ½ tsp dry mustard 1 tsp garlic ¾ tsp chutney 1 large onion, grated Black pepper, to taste Gluten-free option: use gluten-free Worcestershire sauce. Method Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Mix thoroughly until smooth and evenly combined. Pour over chicken pieces and massage well into the meat.
