Ingredients
1 cup dark vinegar
1 cup tomato sauce
½ tsp paprika
Handful coarse salt
1 small tin tomato paste
2 tbsp sugar
½ cup oil
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp dry mustard
1 tsp garlic
¾ tsp chutney
1 large onion, grated
Black pepper, to taste
Gluten-free option: use gluten-free Worcestershire sauce.
Method

Combine all ingredients in a bowl.

Mix thoroughly until smooth and evenly combined.

Pour over chicken pieces and massage well into the meat.

Cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
