½ cup pouring cream

Method

Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan over high heat.

Gradually whisk in the polenta, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.

Reduce the heat to low and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring continuously, until the polenta thickens.
