Strawberry and mozzarella salad

A few years ago, there was a massive surplus of strawberries in Australia, they were on sale and available EVERYWHERE. And as part of that attempt to just get sales, Woolworths Australia published this strawberry salad. We loved it and have made it many times since; I'm recording it here in case it disappears from that website.

Ingredients:
2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 quarters cup extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon sumac
500 grams strawberries, hulled, sliced
1 small red onion, halved, thinly sliced
200g mozzarella ball, drained, torn, or bocconcini
1/2 bunch basil, leaves picked

Mix the vinegar, oil and sumac for dressing. Arrange the rest of the ingredients on a salad plate and drizzle with dressing.
